Newbie question. Amperage change with temperature.

Sorry, but this might be a dumb observation on my part.

Has anyone else noticed that the amperage changes with temperature?  It increases for me.

At 26 C, it starts off at 350 ma roughly.
Then 10 min later at about 90 C it climbs to about 500 ma.

Is this just new to me, or does everyone else here already know about this?

I even tried heating the solution up first before starting the electrolysis process.  It was immediately at 500 ma right off the get go.

Read the articles!.  Current must not change, thats the purpose of having a constant current setup.
Without a constant current power source, the current will change with temperature, and time as the conductivity of the water changes.  This makes it impossible to correctly time the process.

Also, I'm sure your current did not start off at 350ma.  Maybe you mean micro-amps or 0.35ma.
Colloidal Silver is only a bargain if you make it yourself.

I definately started with 350 ma (milliamps).  Thats as high as I could get it when I started the reaction.  I set my constant voltage/current regulator to 500 ma. 
It wouldn't get up to 500 ma until the solution heated up 90 C

Im still a newbie and learning all of this, but this is what happens with my setup.

I used to use 300 ma for the process, but it would take almost 2 hours to get a ruby red solution.

500 ma gets me there in about half the time.

I use a pure gold rod.

Oh, I thought you were trying to make colloidal silver!
Which formula are you using?
Colloidal Silver is only a bargain if you make it yourself.

I use around 20-30 V at 500 ma.
500 mg salt
580 mg of sodium citrate
2.1 g maltodextrin
1 L DW
I mix everything together from the start
I then just let the process continue until I get a rich ruby red color.
Most of the time, my gold rod will weigh 20mg less when its all done.  From my understanding, I believe that equals 20 ppm?
Why doesnt Ohms law V=IR mention anything about temperature affecting the voltage and amperage?   :o

Ohms law is always true.  What changes is the conductivity of the water. 
For instance, compared to room temperature, pure boiling water has 10 times as many current carrying ions as room temperature water.  So according to ohms law, the resistance of the water is less, so current goes up.  Thats what you saw.
